A shocking scandal has rocked Access Bank’s Oniru branch in Lagos State, where Stephen Ejezie, a contact centre staff member, was caught recording and selling over 400 nude videos of his female colleagues. The incident came to light on Wednesday, April 24, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., when Ejezie was apprehended in the female restroom of the bank.
According to sources, Ejezie had hidden a camera in the women’s restroom to secretly film his colleagues, many of whom work night shifts at the bank’s customer service hub and use the facility to bathe and rest. His scheme unraveled when a female staff member, while bathing, noticed a phone recording her from an adjacent toilet cubicle. She raised the alarm after spotting the camera and seeing the toilet seat closed, prompting others to demand the occupant open the door. Ejezie emerged, claiming he didn’t know how he ended up in the women’s restroom but could not explain the recording.
Following his apprehension, the bank ordered his arrest, and police raided his home on Thursday, April 25, 2025. Authorities discovered over 400 videos of female colleagues, recorded without their consent, on Ejezie’s laptop and devices. Investigations revealed that he was allegedly selling the footage online, including on platforms like OnlyFans and Telegram, reportedly to buyers including foreign clients.
Despite the gravity of the allegations, Ejezie has reportedly been released from police custody, raising concerns among affected staff. Many, who are contract workers, fear the bank may not pursue legal action against him to protect its reputation. “Perhaps it’s because we are contract staff,” one employee told reporters, expressing frustration over the slim chances of justice.
Colleagues described Ejezie as an unlikely suspect, noting his friendly demeanor and exceptional performance as an agent. “He was so cool and always checked on people. No one would have thought this would come from him,” a former coworker said.
Sources indicate that Ejezie has been sacked by Access Bank, but the lack of clarity on further legal action has left staff members unsettled. The incident has sparked outrage among employees, who are calling for accountability and stronger measures to protect their privacy.
Access Bank has not issued a public statement on the matter at this time. The Lagos State Police Command is reportedly continuing its investigation.
