The RMAFC commissioners, whose appointments were confirmed by the Senate last August, comprise representatives from various states, including Linda Oti (Abia), Akpan Effiong (Akwa Ibom), and Prof. Steve Ugba (Benue).

In addition to the permanent secretaries and RMAFC commissioners, Hon. Kayode Oladele was sworn in as a member of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), representing Ogun State, while Mrs. Olukemi Victoria Iyantan (Ondo) was sworn in as commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC).

President Tinubu emphasized the importance of diligence, innovation, and commitment in the discharge of their duties, highlighting their role in advancing the administration’s governance and development agenda. The swearing-in ceremony was followed by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which observed a minute of silence in honor of former Minister Jeremiah Useni, who passed away on January 23, 2025.
