Senator Azuta Mbata, from Ikwere, Rivers State today emerges as the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Worldwide.
The position of the President General of the Pan Igbo organisation is rotational among states in Nigeria with Igbo speaking origins with the last person occupying that position being from Imo State.
It is reported that after the tenure of the immediate past President of the organisation who came from IMO state, that it is the turn of the Igbos from Rivers State to produce the next President of the organisation.
